Conscious Use of Energy

Our house has electricity as its sole source of energy, without the use of gas or other fossil fuel, with the utmost respect for the environment and for careful environmental sustainability. Sufficient electricity is provided throughout the stay for conscious use by guests, depending on the number of guests present in the house.

Each stay is assigned a quota of kilowatts that can be used during the stay. The longer the stay and the more people staying the greater the amount of kilowatts allocated.
The house is connected to the national electricity grid and the maximum available power is 3 kW throughout the house.

As indicated by European regulations in compliance with the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, the maximum power made available daily for house occupied by 4 people is 8kWh, with a tolerance of 2kWh, i.e. with a maximum threshold of 10kWh. In the case of a smaller or larger number of people, the power is regulated accordingly, always in compliance with European directives.

Automatic monitoring system

For better energy management, inside the house there is a special management system with a visual panel which shows the real-time situation of the consumption of the various devices, the levels of available energy and the remaining energy, allowing the the guest to understand if he is using too much energy.

If too many devices are connected simultaneously, the management system disables non-essential ones, keeping only essential equipment like lights connected.

As a result, power outlets for devices such as hair straighteners, hair dryers, kettles, and other non-essential appliances are disabled.

Warnings and advice

In the event of improper use of energy, even essential equipment may be disabled temporarily or for the entire stay and penalties of up to €50.00 per day may be applied in the event of continued improper use.

We therefore invite our guests to pay attention to the use of electricity according to the indications provided by the system.
